Join us for a one-day zoom webinar: Aries represents the seed idea for the “annually amended plan” of 2024 – a year that will be “the forerunner” for the momentous year of 2025 – when the Great White Brotherhood will decide a date for Their appearance amongst Humanity once again.
This might be sooner or a few decades later – but certainly before the end of this 21st century! Can we imagine what that will be like and what will be demanded from all of us?
This seminar will cover a lot ground – in and around the above subjects, and will consist of three 1.5 hour sessions that will culminate with a group meditation at 19.00 GMT.

On this second newsletter for the Solstices and Equinoxes, we invite you to ponder some quotes on Meditation and its’ importance.
On Meditation:
“Meditation is the key and will be successful in proportion to its mental content. It must be sharp, purposeful self-controlled effort. There is nothing negative about it. It is not indulgence or escape into peace and nice feelings. It can be far more rewarding than any mystical meditation has ever been. It uses the mind not the feelings. To be effective it must be alert, keen and positive. This necessitates a mental foundation. A good mind is essential. Aquarian disciples must be far more intelligent than Piscean disciples ever were.”
On Group Meditation:
“We are familiar with the statement that a main objective of the Hierarchy is to raise human consciousness and that this means to expand human consciousness, well understood as greater awareness of spiritual realities. This includes progress from individual consciousness to group consciousness and for this purpose group meditation is a chief aid.”
“Therefore the increasing practice of group meditation is important and the fact that group meditation is increasing particularly in the western world is heartening.”
“The Hierarchy, at this worldwide crisis point of expanding human consciousness, is focussing its combined potency in sustained action in flooding humanity with the energy of goodwill. The Hierarchy can make more goodwill available and can direct its flow to humanity, but how much into humanity depends upon our receptivity. This requires our focussed and sustained attention to goodwill action and is most greatly aided by right group meditation practice, well sustained.”
“We have then two basic factors in group meditation action.
- The quality of the lives lived by the group members.
- The potency of rhythmic regularity.
The second requirement is readily appreciated. The first is less understood, less recognised and often somewhat ignored.

Here is a simple and very effective meditation exercise that can be done daily.
Each morning, prior to starting the day’s activities, achieve an inner quiet, see the Self as the soul, place your self at the disposition of the soul, of humanity and of your group.
- Then say silently and with full dynamic intent:
“At the centre of all love I stand; from that centre, I the soul will outward move; from that centre, I the one who serves will work. May the love of the divine Self be shed abroad in my heart, through my group and throughout the world.”
- Then, focussing your attention and dedication, see the group to which you belong as a great centre of love and light, irradiating the world of men, bringing relief, light, love and healing in increasing measure.
- Brood then upon the plan to be carried out and upon the indicated service for the coming day. Do this as the soul, keeping the personal lower self in a waiting attitude, like a servant attentive for instruction.
- Then say:
“The joy of the divine Self is my strength.
The power of the spirit of man shall triumph.
The Forces of Light do control the forces of evil.
The work of the Great Ones must go on.
The Coming One is on the way. The Avatar approaches.
For this we must prepare.”
- Close with a minute of dynamic quiet.

The first solstice meeting this year is significant as the third anniversary of the Association’s legal founding and signing on Dec.22, 2020.
This date was chosen for the 20-year cycle of the Jupiter and Saturn conjunction that fell in the first degree of Aquarius, happily coinciding with the Capricorn solstice! Note all the “2’s” in the dates and cycle above, the 2nd ray of Love-Wisdom – the indigo ray of teaching and healing.
“Solstice” literally means sun stands still – when the sun is at its greatest distance from the celestial equator in winter or summer, depending upon the hemisphere, during the Cancer-Capricorn solar cycle.
The planet is oriented toward the northern pole star Polaris – “A star of re-orientation … the art of re-facing and recovering that which is lost.” Hence, celebrating the winter solstice season globally according to our pole-star orientation – creates an opportunity for powerful invocative meditation.
The greatest darkness of winter, just before the increasing light, is a profound symbol of initiation into the Mysteries. The solstice is celebrated as the birth of the Christ or soul, i.e. Christ-mas on December 25th, the last day of the three-day solstice period when the sun “stands still” – in its transition from south to north.
The Path to Kailash
Capricorn is a sign of perfection (the 10th sign), hence a sign of the perfected Initiate – epitomised by that Piscean Avatar, The Christ or Lord Maitreya. Capricorn is a sign of initiation, when the striving goat has triumphantly scaled the mountain summit and is transformed into the one-pointed unicorn.

The Capricorn Summit – Mount Everest:
“The attempt today to climb Mount Everest [written pre 1953] is amazingly symbolic, and it is being watched with much interest by the Hierarchy, for in this effort we see the attempt of humanity to achieve the top of the mountain whose height has hitherto defeated all efforts.

The Aquarian Wisdom Centre Annual Report
Friends,
The Aquarian Wisdom Centre Retreat in Portugal has just conducted its annual director’s meeting for our non-profit association, Nov.19, 2023.
We would like to thank everyone for their support and generous donations throughout this year:
• Attending our Aries conference, European Unity: Toward Global Unification. (Access to all videos and resources of this four-day event can be found here.)
• Completing the 40-week course The Mysteries Unveiled, that began in October,2022.
• Monthly full moon meditation meetings.
Donations from all these service initiatives yielded a modest but substantial sum, that will serve as a magnetic seed for future donations toward the purchase of property – as outlined in our original The Vision – for esoteric education and meditation.
We have also just appointed new directors that will complement the activities of the current three directors. In our meeting we also discussed service events for 2024 which include,
• Ongoing monthly full moon meetings: Meditation and talk.
• A quarterly celebration of the solstices and equinoxes: Meditation and talk.
• Offering The Mysteries Unveiled 2022-23 course videos, that the student can access at any time – by donation.
• Some weekend seminars on astrology and the ageless wisdom in Lisbon – local gatherings that will be announced.
• A possible physical conference in Lisbon during Gemini 2024, at or around the full moon, consisting of presentations from AWCR directors and others.
In the immediate short term, there will be the Sagittarius full moon meditation and talk on November 26 – dates for these events can be found on our website. As always, we will send email reminders of these events – closer to their dates.
Following that will be the Capricorn solstice celebration on December 21: A meditation and talk regarding the importance of these four cardinal points of the zodiac: Aries-Libra equinoxes and Cancer-Capricorn solstices.
The Capricorn solstice this year actually falls on December 22 (3.27 GMT), but like the full moon festivals, we always prefer to hold the meeting on the approach to the exact time, in this case the ingress of the Sun into Capricorn.

We look forward to your further participation in 2024, during these very challenging times. Through the Ageless Wisdom Teachings (The Mysteries), we cultivate an awareness of the full moon and cardinal points cycles, in order to live our lives more consciously – and know that groups of like-minded souls have the power to transform this planet through the subjective meditation work and outer service activities.
